Leaping into the 2nd Half of the Year 2010

There are so many things to blog about I don't know where to start! Why always like that if only my memory is good and I don't feel obligated to update this tiny space of mine for my future reference. Oh well, working life is treating me good, getting closer to my dear colleagues and besides being the baby of the company, I'm also the 3rd generation of the zodiac Dragon in the company! 22, 34, 46. omgaga how cool is that? :D

I used to think going for site visits are fun, but not when having to walk under the scorching hot sun and pain-stakingly taking measurements while jotting down notes and details. But yet again all hail the measuring laser, we don't have to climb high and low for ceiling heights, room width, etc. or I would have died of exhaustion by the end of the site visit! And also fortuitous events that will happen during site visit eg. bump into cute guys of other office (wtf LiYin seriously?) and bumping into friends! I was really surprised when (construction) site visit for A&A work lead me to my Melbourne friend Sin Hor! :D I was just trying out my luck when in the midst of lost in the city when the office stood right in front of me with her sitting near the entrance. What a coincidence must kacau her every now and then :)

Besides that, I'm getting to know my fellow peers and colleagues and so happens the fair-pretty-vampire-ish-Jean is quite a famous cosmetic blogger! *click* A steady income through advertlets every month me too want!!

Took a few pictures with her but fail kao kao coz I looked just like a mug coffee beside a glass of milk. Cannot cannot will take nicer pix and post up soon. Yay got shopping plus party kaki already hehe!

Iniquitous route from the station back with Cotton On, Charles & Keith screaming. *evil*
Bought these this week, and that's not even shopping but a mere "passing-by-and-have-a-look-20-minutes-shopping". I foresee everyday-walking-route which is detrimental to my bank account :\

Cannot! *slaps* Must focus! Save and invest! *determined nod* :)

Oh well it's not really that bad actually, all the above cost me only $20 HAHAHHAA.

Buy 1 FREE 1 KOSE.

Hair moist cologne + Body cologne @ $15 and I assume you've already noticed the $5 sticker on the rubi tag. Don't we just love GSS :)

Actually it's the ♥pink♥ that attracted my attention, and then KOSE, and then the price. and it's MADE IN JAPAN.

Now I don't have to shunt in crowds for being too self-conscious when I know I am odor-free plus smelling like a rose 24/7! Yes imma carry them wherever I go ♥

Tried the durian pancake of four seasons durians. Very nice outer pancake crust layer but the filling is not to my satisfaction. Don't mess with me when it comes to durians hallelujah mamamia!

Durian oh durian ♥

This sure looks familiar huh? Yes it's all the way from Australia! Target in Brisbane to be exact.
Advantages of having a generous pilot uncle who can bring us stuff world-wide-international-ly!

Gonna start shifting in a bit, can't wait to decorate the room plus start cooking! I miss cooking! I've already thought of the first dish, bicycle wheel soup, next will be tomato celery soup, and then mushroom soup, and then ABC soup, and then YES I JUST CAN'T GET ENOUGH OF SOUP(S) THEY ARE THE ULTIMATE YUMS PLEASE?!

KOI 豆

KOI , derived from the character "豆" placed horizontally.

Crazy queue for the pearls.

I realized that the minute I saw the shop just now while waiting for Jia before we head for dinner. Why oh why am I so observant I don't know why. But I don't think it's me but Jia that is getting blur for not being cognizant of it despite the everyday-passing-by-it.hmmmm :\

Okay will update more on the new place!

Till then, have a great week ahead loves xoxo♥

Walk walk Fashion Baby!

Finally it's Friday tomorrow!!!

Site visits for 2 consecutive days is killing.
Taking pictures and taking measurements ain't fun when we have to be very meticulous as every mistake counts! Literally, when money is involved :|

Was browsing through ~Mee and Dee~'s visit to Japan photos this year for Jia's graduation ceremony and now I know why I am such a fashionista *slaps til face sticks on floor*

Okay I'll let the picture do the talking while imma hit bed soon.
7.30am morning call and 11pm bed time, healthy lifestyle hands down.

My working days will just keep going on and on and when taking public transport travelling alone, that's when loneliness kicks in :(

'Another summer sunny day, has come and gone away, in Paris Orchard and Rome Clarke Quay, but I wanna go home'

Walk walk fashion baby!!

Tuesdays with Morrie

"Tuesdays with Morrie" was the book I spent my time reading in the MRT to and from the office. Might be a coincidence you think but I actually finished reading the book yesterday, on a Tuesday. A great book for us to reflect on life, and flipping over the pages realizing that it's getting thinner and thinner tantalized me to want to know the ending but at the same time hesitating, as I know when the book ends, so would Morris' life.

I could have finished reading the book over the weekend but I have no idea why I chose to delay reading it coz Jia says she cried when reading the last chapter, and I was looking for the right serene time to read so that I can cry my hearts out without anyone's knowing, but so happened I've got the urge to finish reading it yesterday evening while waiting for the bus back, not until this morning did I realise that it was a Tuesday :)

Great book, great lessons, must read!

❤ From a.m. to p.m. ❤

The fire-alarm (don't worry it's from my iPhone) sounded at 4.45a.m. and we got dressed up in our swim suits and t-shirts and off we left the house towards Bayshore to meet our dearest jeeku jeekhim before heading down to our weekly morning walk destination East Coast Park! The sky was still very dark with our watches only showing 5.15a.m when we started our one hour stroll towards food, McD breakfast! :)

Leaving at 5a.m TikTok on the clock! :)

We finally reached McD after 5km walk.

Thank you JeeKu again for belanja-ing us :)

It's not enough until you've refilled 3 times for free refills, don't forget the final time to take back, 'ta pau' hehehe :)

Finally, sunrise!

We had a refreshing dip right after.

And 30 minutes sauna with DHC mask right after before freshening ourselves up for a day out and praying since it was Wesak Day.

After a little prayer for being thankful for everything, off we go to Bugis market for lunch. Again, thank you jeeku for the treat :)

Reminds me of Taiwan 士林夜市 if minus the heat and humidity of Singapore :\

Jia's nasi lemak.

and my kueh chap yes I love all those boh boh intestines :)

'Tau fu fah' @ $0.70 and 'leong fun + sea coconut' @ $1.20 for dessert.

Off we go from Bugis junction to Orchard for GSS! :)

I think 2 fashion-hunters tried to take a picture of me when we were at Orchard :|

Okay maybe I'm just being too self-conscious beh paiseh =-="

We spotted a crazy mark-down sales at Courts when we were on our way to Robinsons and after realizing that Robinsons is way beyond our budget, we headed back to Courts for a mojor shopping spree. (a set of pillow+bolster for only $15 compared to Robinsons @ $60) 一分钱一分货

We took a cab back to Bishan to drop off our shoppings for the day before heading down to Junction8 for another round hallelujah mamamia!

That's where I spotted a super pretty crocs, perfect working shoes plus its material which anti-odor, perfect for my pair of feet ;)

And never did I know I'll get crazy cheap items from Cotton On again. And it's in SGD! ;)

Okay today hasn't been productive at all. Stayed home watching 'Princess and the Frog' before taking a afternoon nap from 1pm-5pm :| Oh well, at least we still have Sunday tomorrow! Don't we just love long weekends??? ;)
