Monday Blues is Official.

The negative vibe in the office today was inevitable. Every face I see was "projecting" the 'I-am-so-sick-of-this' look, I had to drink as much tea/ Milo as possible so I can escape to the toilet as many times as possible. It's not the boss being unreasonable or whatsoever coz I believe this is just Architecture life; One day you are really busy and then free-like-seriously-free and then busy like a dog again, which I thought it only happens in University days but apparently it happens in working life too! That's why I'm saying, if you are considering to take up Architecture, please think twice. Architects are like Artists, your work will not be appreciated until you are dead when suddenly you become famous. Oh well, I'm just making that up, but what I'm trying to say is that the road of being an Architect really hard, and is not suitable for those who actually want to make money. It is vital to utolize both sides of your brain, be creative, and also at the same time be practical, on top of that, be good in people management. In short, it can be a very satisfying job, but not necessarily financially. :O *gasp* And never did I realize that my job is giving me stress until I found out that me having the not-able-to-write-essays-during-exams-(SPM TIME)-dreams is because of stress that I'm experiencing. What can I say =_="

That aside, life is good. In a positive note, I'll take everything as a learning process, the procedure that makes me grow for the better! *fighting mode*

Random pix as always:

Cotton On Body. XS singlet, which makes me look skinny! *Deceiving* If only I'm that skinny!

Potato coated sausage and kimchi sauce. Spotted in Takashimaya. YumM! :)

I still look forward in having one for my own, it has been my dream to own a grand piano in my house.

The Ultimate Sin.

Money money money, it's all about money in this world.

It's an irony with us being born in this era.

Everything is made accessible, the things, education, and life we want is right there in front of you.
But there's a catch, only one, where all you ONLY need is MONEY.

I wanna have that favourite bowl of noodle. - *kaching*
Oh that earrings is love, I want to get that! - *kaching*
OMG that pair of shorts I've been looking for! - *kaching*
The CHANEL is love. - *kaching*

That's only for the girls. What about boys:

Oh that GF2 I'm gonna save for it! - *kaching*
Oh, the this gadget that gadget- *kaching*
Oh the 5th series?! -*kaching*

MOREOVER,

They need to spend for their girlfriends. *HUGE KACHING MAX BIJABOOOOOM!*

We spend half of our health for wealth, and then half of the wealth for health. The irony.
So what's the purpose of life huh what what what? Somebody please define.

Of Prettia and Ippudo! The best Ramen in Singapore :)

Finally it's Friday. What a long week it has been. Rushing for tender submissions while catching up the sleep despite me already having enough sleep, and it's only the first week of the month year @@

Just finished dying my hair again with Prettia. A bit too light @@ Hmm...must have left it on for too long (an hour). But I must say, I'm really loving the convenience in applying the dye, what an ingenious invention, really suitable for people like me who will choose to pay $19 for a decent hair colour instead of an extra digit of $199 and hates the tedious + painful-hair-pulling-process of the conventional hair dying.

Shall update on the colour tomorrow, definitely with tonnes of All-Hail-Vanity pix with my favourite twins around!! It has been a while :)

It was the last day of the year. Last day to enjoy FREE kaedama.
Since Nic is a big fan of Ramen, I definitely must bring him there.
Half day work for the 31st, off we went to Mandarin Gallery, Orchard when the clock strikes 1pm!

After the long queue, we finally entered the restaurant after 15 minutes wait, where there goes another queue, but at least this time with the scrumptious Ramen soup steam lingering around us to build up the appetite.

Finally we got seated.

The free kaedama, which means 'change the ramen', more like refill I see?

One of the best part of the ramen,

The Half-Hard-Boiled-Egg hallelujah mamamia!

We had a very very satisfying meal. \(T   O T)/

Went to Kinokunya and spotted the Jap mags with free interesting bags again.
And I overheard someone asking the attendee, "Where can I get the magazine with free Fred Perry bag?"
"Sorry, sold out." :| Too bad, and it has only been a month or two?

Brought this back home :)
Fell in love on the first sight. Reminds me of the CHANEL 'paper' bag. *click*

daisuki!

Silly face! :)

Our current love, MOS burger. Healthy and Reasonably priced!

Salad burger. Instead of bread/ rice, you get cabbage!!

Fried potatoes and orange sauce chicken. Great combination with lots of onions is love.

Went for MOS again. This time we both went healthy! Salad burgers for both of us!

Yay! Food!
And yummy drumstick spotted.
Gosh, the addiction just never stops in MOS.
Moreover with them changing their menu every month!

And so here comes the new year!

Time to buckle up the seat belt and step on the accelerator.

For the last year, I had excuse for procrastinating, reason being 'I shall figure it out when the time comes next year' and now it's 'next year' Now it's 2011!! two zero one one you tell me siao or not! My new year's resolution? Just one, feeling happy and contented. Which leads to ful-filling my all my dreams and launching the plans. Yeah, the plan, the law of attraction PLUS the law of gestation.

Let's have a great year ahead.

"Aim to be the very best at everything you do, not the second best.
Falling is fine, aiming for the second isn't."

Let's start off with a great sleep tonight and a great weekend.

Wowwwwww I am so FREE todayyyy!!!

It has been a while since I had this feeling. Laze around at home and just laze laze and laze around~ I cannot say that I'm doing nothing because I'm writing on my personal statement, on and off, blah. What to write what to write. So many things are yet to be done for the Uni applications and I must remind myself, THERE IS NO SHORTAGE OF TIME, JUST A CONFUSION OF PRIORITIES read it out x 10. And oh look what am I doing now. Clearing up the place a little and this little space is really quiet in the afternoon where everyone is off to their working desk, which to be honest I have never experienced before since we started staying here.

Since the weather is quite pleasant, cloudy and I must avoid unnecessary sun-rays, I'm thinking of walking over to J8 and buy Koi along the way to sip and chew on their glam little bubbles, (yum yum) while I shop in Diva. Have I mentioned that they are having $7 sales on now!! Last year in Melbourne it's $5 sales and due to the currency exchange, it's $7 here! not too bad I must say! What I still don't understand is the price of Cotton On in Aus and Singapore is the same. Let's say $29.90 AUD is also $29.90 SGD. Makes no sense but who cares, we are the one who is game! :)

Both Jia and I has started major shopping (individually) for CNY. And we will be back in Penang in approximately 30 days time for CNY celebration. Very fast, too fast in fact. The best part about CNY is when all our loved ones are gathered to catch up on each other, other than that, the questions of "how well you scored in your exam? (which happened when we were in Primary and Secondary school, but currently it's more on - ), Where are you working at? How much are you earning? have you got a boyfriend? when are you getting married? ta-ta-ta-talking bout, blah blah blah.. which at times can be annoying when the line is crossed. No doubt people are just being concerned, or yeah maybe they are just concerned, but when the questions are answered, people tend to judge, judge and judge. Oh well, all I can say is that's just human nature, and what we can do is just take those as advice and grow from it. I still love them no matter what ;)

Currently listening to:

Wonder why I have so much of a CD collections now??? :P

Last day of year 2010 tomorrow.
It's time for a little celebration to usher in the new 2011!!
Have a great one everyone. xoxo

♥ Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year ♥

First comes Christmas, my favourite festive event of the year, and before we get to soak into the romantic and joyful atmosphere, here comes New Year right after Christmas Day, before red red Chinese New Year ambiance greet the city. It is rather over-whelming that 2010 is literally coming to an end. 3 days time hallelujah allejandro! The graph of 2010 was exhilaratingly steep, high and low, which reminds me the Yin & Yang rule that governs the world we live in. Lots that I have learnt in this year, academically and also in personal growth. Afterall I am hitting the two three next year, time to grow up and think wisely for whatever choice I make.

Busy week or in fact, month ahead.
Lots of errands to run and no more procrastination woman!

'There is no shortage of time, only a confusion of priorities',
I must always keep that in mind!

Now let me share with you a few snap shots of Christmas decoration I managed to capture in the city:

Christmas decoration?? or CNY??

Have I mentioned how I'm loving MOS burger??
The reasonably priced healthy bites which is sufficient for a meal. yumm :)

And one of my favourite high tea spots would be tcc - the coffee connoisseur.

Year 2010 has been a great one.
May 2011 which is in 3 days time be as splendid or even better ♥

Best wishes everyone, before that, let me leave you with this:

" IF YOU DON'T PLAN YOUR PLAN,
IT WILL REMAIN A DREAM."

quoted from one of the books (as though I'm reading many books blah. I'm still looking for The Answers by John Assaraf and Murray Smith that I read halfway and couldn't renew due to me being one day late okay enough of this crap but still imma look for the book in Kinokunya this weekend if possible!) that I'm currently reading during MRT rides, THE RULES OF LIFE by Richard Templar.

So lesson of the quote:
JUST DO IT!!

Despite the fact that I'm really enjoying every moment now.
Feeling blessed for everything. Thank you! :)
